Hi Sue, I had some of these in Seoul last summer. Super delicious. I thought 8000won was expensive - There're more expensive ones out there, apparently. I just returned from Mecca where a hot afternoon could go up to 45 deg celcius. I guess I could use one of these sherbets there, huh?

Sherbert is basically frozen fruit juice or pureed fruit mixed with water, some lemon juice and sugar. You put it in the freezer and every few minutes (15-20) you scrape it until everything is not liquid anymore. Sort of like a granita? You'll need a melon baller for the rounded fruit.
