I recommend you
- If you don’t know the ingredients I mention in the recipes, try to find them in the “Ingredients Description” category. I am trying to post as many pictures and descriptions as I can.
- If you do not live in Korea, you can get some of the ingredients at Korean supermarkets or Asian supermarkets. Also, if you are in the USA, you can order stuff from the internet. I have links in the “online Korean grocery shop” section. I hope you don’t have difficulty in finding ingredients.
- There is a print option to print the posted recipes from this blog for your convenience. It’s above the post title. If you press the “Print this post” button it will optimize the size for printing, then you can choose to print in the bottom right corner.
I found and bought a large wood mold That I think is Korean. Carved into the the bottom of the mold are what I think are Korean characters. When the preparation is turned out the characters will be on the top. There is a handle and the entire mold is covered in wax…perhaps to protect the wood against cracking?
I am wanting to discover the meaning of the characters and a recipe for the mold. I am able to send a phot of the mold if you contact me directly at columbusrvpark.1@sbcglobal.net
Hoping to thank you for your help, I remain, very truly yours,
Suz
Hi Cake Eater
I found myself astonished that Evil Jungle Prince has closed his blog down. Unfortunately, I don’t happen to know his list of recommended cookbooks. Sorry I can’t help you.
Hi, I had left a question a few weeks ago and don’t see it on the questions tab… did you delete it? I had asked whether you knew what happened to Evil Jungle Prince’s blog or if you happened to have his list of recommended cookbooks. Could you email me directly if you don’t want it posted on your website? THanks!
