Carved into the the bottom of the mold are what I think are Korean characters. When the preparation is turned out the characters will be on the top. There is a handle and the entire mold is covered in wax...perhaps to protect the wood against cracking? I am wanting to discover the meaning of the characters and a recipe for the mold.
