This Refund Policy applies to paid memberships and other digital purchases made through My Korean Kitchen where payment is processed by Paddle.com.
1. Paddle as Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our authorised reseller, Paddle.com (“Paddle”).
Paddle is the Merchant of Record for purchases processed through Paddle. This means Paddle processes your payment, handles applicable taxes, and administers refunds and payment-related enquiries in accordance with its policies.
Purchases made through Paddle are also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms:
https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms
Paddle’s Refund Policy is available at:

2. Membership Payments
My Korean Kitchen paid memberships are subscription-based services.
The subscription price, billing period, applicable taxes and renewal terms will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Unless cancelled, your subscription will automatically renew in accordance with the billing period you selected at checkout.
3. Cancelling Your Membership
You may cancel your paid membership at any time.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period.
You will continue to have access to the applicable paid membership benefits until the end of that billing period, and you will not be charged for a further renewal.
You can manage or cancel a subscription using the subscription management link provided in your Paddle purchase or subscription confirmation email.
You may also access Paddle buyer support at: https://paddle.net
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically create a refund for amounts already paid.
4. Refund Requests
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your initial purchase of a My Korean Kitchen paid membership.
If you are not satisfied with your membership, you may request a refund within 30 calendar days of the date of your initial purchase.
The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to the initial membership purchase only and does not automatically apply to subsequent subscription renewals, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Refund requests made after the 30-day period will generally not be eligible for a refund, except where:
- a refund is required by applicable consumer law;
- Paddle determines that a refund should be provided under its Refund Policy;
- you have been charged incorrectly;
- a duplicate or unauthorised payment has occurred; or
- another refund right applies under applicable law.
Refund requests for purchases processed by Paddle may be submitted through Paddle Buyer Support at: https://paddle.net
You may also contact My Korean Kitchen if you have experienced a problem with your membership or believe you have been charged incorrectly.
5. Subscription Renewals
Subscription renewal payments are generally not covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee that applies to your initial purchase.
If you no longer wish to continue your membership, you should cancel your subscription before the next renewal date.
If you believe a renewal payment was made in error, was unauthorised, or you have another valid basis for requesting a refund, you may contact Paddle or My Korean Kitchen.
Any refund of a renewal payment will be determined in accordance with applicable law, Paddle’s policies, and the circumstances of the transaction.
6. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot legally be excluded.
Depending on your country or region, you may have statutory cancellation, withdrawal, repair, replacement, refund or other consumer rights.
Where those rights apply, they take precedence over any inconsistent provision in this Refund Policy.
7. Digital Content and Immediate Access
Some My Korean Kitchen memberships or digital services may provide access to digital content or membership benefits immediately after purchase.
Where permitted by applicable law, by requesting or using immediate access to digital content or services, you acknowledge that any statutory right to cancel or withdraw may be affected once delivery or performance has begun.
This does not affect any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Problems With Membership Access
If you have paid for a membership but cannot access the membership features or content, please contact us so that we can investigate the issue.
Where possible, we will first attempt to restore access or otherwise resolve the problem.
If the issue cannot reasonably be resolved, we may assist you with a refund request where appropriate.
9. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved for a purchase processed by Paddle, the refund will generally be processed by Paddle to the original payment method used for the purchase.
The time taken for a refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.
My Korean Kitchen does not control bank or payment-provider processing times.
Where a full refund is issued, access to the relevant paid membership may end.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe that you have been charged incorrectly, we encourage you to contact Paddle or My Korean Kitchen before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that the issue can be investigated.
This does not limit any right you may have to dispute a transaction through your bank, card issuer, payment provider or applicable consumer protection process.
