Hello~! I’m back!
First of all, Happy New Year! I can’t believe it’s already mid January and 2015! I’m very sorry that I haven’t been posting new recipes/articles more regularly last year. It’s been a very hectic year. – we sold & bought our home, which involved vigorous house hunting for 4 months, 2 big moves and renovation, a big family event, which involved about 7 months of planning and execution, and of course, my toddler just loves spending quality time with her mummy too much. 🙂 Though this year will be different for My Korean Kitchen. I’m really going to push myself so that I can at least do one blog post a week. (Fingers crossed!)
I want to start this off by presenting my top 5 most popular posts in 2014 so that if you missed them before, you can give them a try. As I haven’t published many blog posts in 2014, most of the posts originate from 2013. So here we go:-
#5. Gochujang sauce (42,469 views)
#4. Simply Seasoned Korean Spinach Salad (Sigeumchi Namul version.1) (45,082 views)
#3. Korean Style Stir-fried Udon Noodles with Chicken and Veggies (48,178 views)
#2. Korean Style Seasoned Mung Bean Sprouts Salad (Sukju Namul Muchim) (70,627 views)
#1. Bibimbap – Korean Mixed Rice with Meat and Assorted Vegetables (248, 904 views)
My thoughts:-
My Bibimbap post ranked in number 1 two years in a row (since 2013). Wowza! 248,904 is just amazing number as well! – three times more than the runner up.
Another interesting fact is that ranking numbers 2, 4, and 5 also relate to my Bibimbap recipe. (Well, they are fine as a stand alone post but they are also interlinked from my Bibimbap post.) The power of Bibimbap is simply amazing! 🙂
While we are revisiting the top five posts, I also want to sneak in three posts, which didn’t sit in the top five but I believe you will enjoy. They are:-
#6. Korean Black Bean Sauce Noodles (Jajangmyeon) (35,638 views)
#7. Kimchi Pancakes (Kimchi Buchimgae) (33,176 views)
#8. Korean Street Food: Egg Bread (Gyeran Bbang) (31,165 views)
I hope you enjoy reading and making them. In the mean time, I’ll be creating mouthwatering and delicious recipes during next week. So stay tuned for the update!
